Food
- We serve vegetarian or vegan food as standard at internal and external events.
- We inform employees about potential leftovers to reduce food waste.
IT equipment
- We use IT equipment (computers, phones) for as long as possible. If broken, they are repaired if it significantly prolongs the electronics’ life. Read our checklist to learn more.
- When new equipment is needed, second-hand options come first.
Travel
- We prioritize digital meetings or train travel.
- We do not fly domestically.
- We do not fly internationally when we can reach our destination by train in less than 7 hours.
- Locally, we travel fossil-free and choose electric or hybrid cars.
Office
- Electricity
- We choose renewable or fossil-free electricity. Contact your supplier to know more.
- Servers
- We choose servers that run on renewable or fossil-free electricity. Contact your supplier to know more.
- Furniture
- We buy second-hand furniture for our office. Chairs, desks, etc.
- When remodelling, we try to hand our old furniture to someone who needs it rather than throwing it away/ just donating.
Raising our voice
- We use the power of our voice as a company. When choosing suppliers, we ask them about their sustainability work.
- We participate in our business association, encouraging them to advocate for sustainability legislation.
- We are transparent with our sustainability work to inspire others.
Using our money
- We place our money in fossil-free funds.
- We choose a bank that is as fossil-free as possible. Learn more with FairFinanceGuide.
- We contribute to financing climate projects in line with our carbon footprint.
Extra: Perks for employees
- We promote sustainable commuting by providing working time reduction for employees who travel by train, bike, or on foot
- We have a “Stay on the ground” policy, giving employees who choose train travel instead of flying on their holiday up to two extra vacation days
- We encourage and facilitate our employees to choose pension suppliers that help rather than hinder climate action.
